Dilly Lily was honored to make these lovely wedding bouquets for a photo shoot to be featured in the upcoming June issue of CS Brides Magazine.
The shoot was directed by the fashionable Chicago Style Editor of Modern Luxury Magazine, Graham Kostic. (You can also find Graham as Creative Director of Glossed and Found.)

We hope you enjoy this sneak peak of our wedding flowers! However, it is no substitute for what Graham has in store for you in the glossy pages of the next CS Brides Magazine! We are awaiting June with bated breath!

It was a warm autumn day when Jessie and Bobby said "I do" at
Fulton's on the River in Chicago.
Everyone enjoyed their love of color - Jessie carried a bouquet of all Circus roses and her bridesmaids carried a combination and flame dahlias, hydrangeas and hypericum berries. We especially loved the mini pumpkins.

Kara and Tradd celebrated their beautiful Chicago wedding at The Hotel Allegro. Kara's romantic bouquet of lavender roses, two-toned calla lilies, and hydrangeas greatly complimented her elegance and grace.

Fun at Indie Wed!

Indie Wed has made a huge imprint on the hearts of the Midwest. Perfectly located
at the Ravenswood Event Center this event inspired creativity throughout all its
guest. With the uniqueness all the venders brought forth, I am positive this is just
the beginning for Indie Wed!
A huge thank you goes out to Edyta Szyszlo who captured so much fun with
her creative photography!

We could not be a happier for the handsome couple!
With an abundance of white roses, orchids and
hydrangeas they said their "I do's"
at the elegant The Standard Club in Chicago.
All the candle light and lush rose petals enhanced the
mood and filled the room with enchantment!

The breathtaking photos were captured by
S1 Photography. A big thank you to Oscar and his team
for sending them our way!

Can Helleborus predict the weather?

Once used as a forcast flower, Helleborus told the people of the upcoming weather.
Cut and placed in a vase they were left to either open or close. If the flower stayed
closed, the people were warned of the bad weather to come. If they
opened, it was sign that the season would be good!
Ours at the shop are open! With spring around the corner we are listening to the
Helleborus and awaiting the wonderful weather. Hope they are right!

A custom holiday wreath from the Dilly Lily. It is made up of Magnolia leaves, Honey Locust beans, angel hair, pears and a sweet PEACE sign garland from Sarah Lugg. Natural and sweet. As the big snowflakes begin to fall, we are wishing you all a peaceful holiday sesason.

There was a lot of hustle and bustle at the shop today where the Dilly Lily's were making spectacular floral centerpieces that could take your breath away! It was so nice to see all your smiling faces. We are all very thankful at the Dilly Lily and counting our many blessings.
