The days of the dahlia are upon us...

There's really not a flower we don't love.
And when they look like this how can you blame us!
These gorgeous dahlias make us SWOON...and could brighten anyone's day.

They are locally grown from a beautiful farm in Michigan that takes great pride (as you can see) in their product.

Come by and grab one (or two or three or more) for yourself... because the days of the dahlia are almost gone! 

What better way to welcome fall than with one of natures perfect blooms.

Congratulations to Jessie and Bobby!

It was a warm autumn day when Jessie and Bobby said "I do" at
Fulton's on the River in Chicago.
Everyone enjoyed their love of color - Jessie carried a bouquet of all Circus roses and her bridesmaids carried a combination and flame dahlias, hydrangeas and hypericum berries. We especially loved the mini pumpkins.

Our weather has been so wierd this fall - colder and rainy- that all the local dahlias are coming to an end.

Found my happy place at the MN State Fair this week! An entire room filled with the most beautiful dahlias you've ever seen! So colorful and bright and some as big as your head! Fat ones tall ones short ones small ones ( not unlike the fair itself ) they were spectacular!!

Congratulations to all the winners! And a great big thank you to the Minnesota Dahlia Society for making me smile from ear to ear!
