Congratulations to Kara and Tradd!

Kara and Tradd celebrated their beautiful Chicago wedding at The Hotel Allegro. Kara's romantic bouquet of lavender roses, two-toned calla lilies, and hydrangeas greatly complimented her elegance and grace.
It was our pleasure to bring their vision to life. We wish them a lifetime of happiness.
Thank you to Laurie Peacock Photography for sending us these pretty pictures!

A wedding toast to Blake and Joey!

We could not be a happier  for the handsome couple!
With an abundance of white roses, orchids and
hydrangeas they said their "I do's"
at the elegant The Standard Club in Chicago.
All the candle light and lush rose petals enhanced the
mood and filled the room with enchantment!

The breathtaking photos were captured by
S1 Photography. A big thank you to Oscar and his team
for sending them our way!
What a romantic wedding day! Congratulations!

warmest wishes for a happy thanksgiving

There was a lot of hustle and bustle at the shop today where the Dilly Lily's were making spectacular floral centerpieces that could take your breath away! It was so nice to see all your smiling faces. We are all very thankful at the Dilly Lily and counting our many blessings. Looking forward to spending time with our family and friends, hope you are too!

A sneak peek at Amanda and Ashish!

What a beautiful and lavish event a the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago! And it couldn't happen to a nicer couple!

Amanda carried an exotic floral bouquet comprised of pincushion protea, green hydrangeas and mango callas.

This beautiful summer day in Chicago was perfectly captured by the talented photographer Amaris Granado!

Aren't they fantastic??  Thanks Amaris!

the golden leaf

Today we just wanted to share these pictures from photoshoot we did awhile back.

The mix of the pistachio green hydrangea and green/white parrot tulips was a big hit! The golden leaves are hand dipped in 24kt gold. So decadent. They make beautiful ornaments all on their own or we love to use them to accent our floral arrangements and bouquets. (We still have some at the shop if you are interested.)

And of course we love the echeveria place card holders! Hope you do too!

Tricks of the Trade: We used lentil beans that were painted gold to create our placemats and to add texture to the echeveria place card holders- it was a very cool effect.
